Who we are.

RSS Cooperate is a secular learning body but promotes the holistic education of all community members. Our lessons do have spiritual content and this should be noted to families who are interested. We are not a Waldorf School but are inspired by Steiner's teachings. Instead, we are a mindful, child-led program. Our families and educators value the methods and principles used in the Waldorf philosophy and have implemented lessons that benefit our community best while we meet two times a week. Our focus is on mindful education to help each child awaken or keep their awareness of the world around them.

Our program takes place primarily outdoors (90-100%) and is rooted in the benefits of learning in and from nature. We close our learning time with reflection and gratitude practice, which prompts the children to recognize and share what they are grateful for and what they have learned.

Cost

Registration Fee: $250 includes materials/supplies- The registration fee holds your spot in the program.

Forest School Friday: learn bushcraft skills, folk skills, and connect in nature. Every month there is a new skill taught.

2 Days Monday/Friday: with minimal family involvement (families could help at festivals or with larger projects or interests i.e wood carving, etc.).

The school day would run from 9 am - 2:30 pm.

The School Year will run from September to May.

There is a possibility for a before care/aftercare program option for an additional fee.: from 8 am - 9 am and from 2:30 pm - 4 pm.
